Hello HYPSTER members!

From December 7th to 17th, 2023, we conducted a "HYPSTER Special Survey" in which we asked HYPSTER members to submit recommendation comments about songs released this year!

Although this was our first event, we had a lot of participants and received many enthusiastic messages, so we will introduce some of them at random.

This is the second installment! It's the Hypnosis and Hypste edition.

"Three Hearts in One" / Fling Posse VS MAD TRIGGER CREW (Hypste)

◆This is definitely the song I've listened to the most this year. The intro gets me pumped! This song is from the stage version of "Reason to Fight", but at first it seems like a completely different song, but the keywords that appear throughout the song really show respect for the original, and it's a song I love. The first verse is sung in an unusual order - Samatoki → Dice → Gentaro → Juto → Rio → Ramuda - and I loved seeing the interaction between the various members of HypStage! (MC name: AssA777)

◆I really like how they always respect the original work while also making songs that have the color of HypStage. I can trust them. I really like how they diss each other at a good tempo (MC name: Ikechiko)

◆I will never forget the dynamism I felt when I first saw the show. The sense of unity in this battle, where Shibuya's bright and pop expressions intertwine with Yokohama's heavy, low-key answer, is the best. The lyrics show the unity of each division, and there are gestures of them looking at each other on stage, making this a song that strongly evokes the bond between the two. ◆I was impressed that the lyrics of the original work were not quoted directly, but were instead spoken by the members of HypStage. However, the tense atmosphere of the battle in the original work was still there, and it felt like Yokohama and Shibuya were right in front of me. (MC name: Nikobu)

◆This is my favorite battle song, and it's electrifying with the unshakable bond of MTC and the unyielding spirit of the posse. The increasingly heated and rough-tongued clash between Ramuda and Samatoki, the powerful battle between Dice and Riou who have decided to separate themselves from their usual friendly relationship and clash violently, and the elegant clash between Gentaro and Juto - everything is incredibly cool and energizing. ◆It has a melody and lyrics that respect RtF, and the characters fight on stage to impress... I have a lot to say, but it's an important song that reminds me that it was the best stage performance ever. I've seen it many times, but it's never the same, the stage was alive and so was the song. I've been to so many performances that I have no regrets, but I want to see and hear it live again... Every time I hear it, I realize again how much I love all six of them. There's nothing but love. ◆ It was interesting to see the individual personalities of the six members, each with their own different aims, with Posse risking their lives, Hama unable to back down because of their pride, and others risking something completely different. The way the lyrics pile up to protect the attacked member is like a battle, and the exchanges between the actors on stage were stimulating and fun every time (MC name: Byakuya)

"Battle of Pride 2023" / HYPNOSISMIC-DRB- Rule the Stage (BoP 2023 All Cast)

◆This is a culmination of the members who have supported HypStage up until now. It's the best!!! Each character had their own moment to shine, and everyone was the protagonist, and the characters of HYPNOSISMIC existed beyond the barriers of dimensions. Thanks to everyone from Ibaraki, Hama, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Osaka, Nagoya, and Oridi. (MC name: A regular person who supports all 6 divisions.)

◆I was blown away by the Battle of Pride, where all the cast members of the show sang and danced together! I can't get "Bounce, Bounce, Bounce" out of my head, and I'm typing in the rhythm on my keyboard while I'm at work! (MC name: Ghost M)

◆A supreme song with an arrangement and new cast added to an existing song! Electrifying lyrics, overflowing energy, everything is the best & highest. Everything about Hypste is here! It's also perfect as a timer when you want to measure 10 minutes! (About 9 minutes) (MC name: I want to be MC. Fukuzawa's Yukichi)

◆It's a song that gets you pumped right from the intro, but it's even more exciting with the participation of all the divisions from the last BoP. Each division has a strong personality, and there's a heat as if they're all battling it out. The nine minutes go by in an instant and you're captivated by all the divisions. (MC name: naka)

◆Theme song of HypStage's last performance. When this song plays, it gives me energy without question. It's my favorite song, and it brings out the best in all the characters, especially the chorus, which is cool and amazing. No matter what, BoP is the hottest place in the world, and it was the legendary conclusion. I love you forever. (MC name: Ayami)

◆It's a spectacular song performed by a total of 32 people, including D4! The arrangement is different for each division, so you'll never get bored of listening to it! It's a scary song where the 9 minutes pass by in an instant of happiness (lol). It's so much fun to sing it at karaoke while imitating the choreography! (MC name: Donpachi DJ Hamataro)

◆I was a complete beginner to HypMic, but when I heard that the stage with the current cast was coming to an end, I watched the BoP broadcast. In conclusion, it was such a wonderful stage that I regretted why it was ending and why I hadn't gone to see it until now. The characters of HypMic looked lively from a different angle, and I was simply overwhelmed by the acting, music, and rap that only a stage can offer, and I wanted to see more. The title song, Battle of Pride (2023), is like a soulful cry from all the characters, and it still remains in my heart. It's a wonderful song, lyrics, rap, and performance that makes you think it could be even longer even though it's supposed to be such a long song. It's really, really, really sad that we won't be able to see it with the original HypMic cast anymore, but I dream that one day the original voice actor cast and future HypMic cast members will be able to sing it. "Rep Squad -Buster Bros!!! Ver.-" / Buster Bros!!! (Hypste)

◆I absolutely love the line "Rule the Stage - It can't start without us" - it really is that simple. It can't start without their band. I really love the hooks throughout the series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of all the songs on Stage, which are all cool in sound, this is my favorite. (MC name: Kodamako)

◆I do squats and sit-ups while listening to this song. It's a mellow song with a low base, and I love it (MC name: Tanukichi-san)

◆I writhe around every time Saburo says "Can you keep up?". Whenever he plays, I naturally put up the BB hand sign. I love it. It's addictive. (MC name: Bear)

◆I chose this song because I love the parts of Jiro, my favorite in both Hypnosis Mic and HypStage. The overlapping of the first notes at the beginning of Jiro's part, "Mama mama welcome to my hood," reminded me of Samidiv, and it was a long time since we last had a live performance, and the fact that there were so many chorus parts was very Jiro-like, which made me smile. Also, I like how Ichiro's part says "Three Brothers," Jiro's part says "One, Two, Three, and," and Saburo says "3rd," which includes the numbers for the three brothers. (MC name: Matcharate)

◆ Ichiro started off by saying "Sorry to keep you waiting, I'm the emperor", and as someone who had been waiting for a reply from Bukuro all this time, I thought "I've been waiting for this!!!!"!!!!!!!!! If it were possible, I'd do it again!!!!!!!!! At the venue!!!!!! I want to hear it!!!!!!!!! I want to clap my hands!!!!!!!!! (MC name: Momotaro)

◆I love it. The lyrics and punch lines that the three brothers weave are incredibly satisfying. At the beginning, Ichi-nii's line, "Sorry to keep you waiting, I'm the emperor," reminds me of the team I used to be a part of, and Jiro-chan's exchange of words that incites the heads, and Sabu-chan's challenging singing style and the way he shows his growth have captured my mother's heart forever and will never let go. It brings back vivid memories of the performance at Zepp. It was fun. It was cool. I love it. Forever and always (MC name: Mameta)

◆Buster Bros!!! always has the image of taking the lead, but at Rep Live they were the last of the 6 divisions to perform. That's why Ichiro's enthusiastic words, "It can't start without us, right!?" were so memorable. Their awareness that Buster Bros!!! is always the one to start gives a sense of confidence that comes from the experience they've accumulated as a team. With energetic verses that make you lean forward instinctively and a sense of speed as they race through to the final sprint, you're overwhelmed, and at the end you'll want to say, "This is Buster Bros!!!" It's a song that's so typical of them. (MC name: Hino)

"Rep Squad –MAD TRIGGER CREW Ver.-" / MAD TRIGGER CREW (Hypste)

◆Maybe it's because I'm a Yokohama fan, but even among Rep Squad, this is my favorite song. Is that so? I was blown away by the lyrics "good boy, good boy." It doesn't feel like it's 3 minutes long. It feels like it's 30 minutes long. There are so many things I like about it that I don't have enough vocabulary or characters to describe it... I love it!!! (MC name: Komezanmai)

◆Out of all the Rep Squad members, this is the coolest. Listening to this song makes me want to walk with my center of gravity lowered just like Samatoki-sama. Also, the choreography for "Good boy, good boy" is genius. (MC name: Chiko)

◆When I heard Rep Squad for the first time, it was so shocking that I just wanted to dance. Everything about it was really cool. Also, MTC's rap was really good and the choreography was great. The way Hypste MTC rapped and danced was so cool. The concert was so much fun!!!

◆This song makes me want to go back to summer. Rep Squad is my favorite HypStage song! (MC name: Naasa)

◆I heard Rescue for the first time, and I loved the part about the three of them, the three of them, and at the live concert, when they went up the stage, Samatoki-sama sat in the middle, with Juto-san and Riou-san standing on either side, like the king of Hama and his two wings, it was really cool. There were a lot of new songs at the live concert, and I was immersed in the world of Hama, and it brought back memories of how much fun it was!

I want to hear more from the original trio! (MC name: Ninnin)

◆This song has more than enough power and impact to be the pioneer of Rep Live. I will never forget the impact I felt when I first heard it at the Yokohama concert. Samatoki's high-speed rap, the rough words coming out of Juto's pretty face, Riou's deep bass - every part of it was a fantastic performance that could be called MTC. I especially like the part that goes, "MAD TRIGGER CREW tramples down on the Dirty Fakers!" (MC name: Narashino)

◆I think it's great that it has a cool matte feel to it. It's stylish. I listen to it with the image of being submerged in the ocean of Yokohama. (MC name: Rasu)

"Rep Squad -Fling Posse Ver.-" / Fling Posse (Hypste)

◆I was surprised at how cute it was. I was amazed at how well the lyrics and the cast were able to bring out Ramuda-chan's cuteness to the fullest. Gentaro and Dice each have their own unique style, but Shibuya's cuteness and pop appeal are also clearly expressed, making me smile without even realizing it. (MC name: Uni)

◆Even though it was just a division solo performance, the excitement was already building up, but the opening applause made us all excited to the max. The lyrics are so typical of Fling Posse, the melody is catchy, and the choreography is cute. It's my favorite song! (MC name: Takanashi)

◆This is a Shibuya-style pop Rep Squad. In terms of lyrics, Rando is super pop, Yumeno-sensei is technical and has his name in it, and Dice is always on the edge. The three of them combine their strengths to make this the best Rep Squad. (MC name: Chico)

◆I'm writing this because my favorite is Shibuya, but what I like about Rep Squad is that each division sings "We are the strongest!" Each division and original song has a good arrangement and is unique, so I really love it. I also like the part that starts with the common lyric "Welcome to our hoodie" including the choreography. (MC name: Nyanko)

◆I like each of the solo parts in the Shibuya version. Ranmu is even cuter, Gentaro has beautiful lyrics that are like wordplay, and I especially love the lyrics of Dice's part, "Jumping over the border," which is so Dice-like. (MC name: Hiromin)

◆ I thought that Shibuya's songs were noisy but well-organized. Shibuya has a lot of songs that are fun to listen to, including the original. (MC name: Muna)

◆I love this song because it's bright and free and full of Shibuya-ness! I think that the slow, slow-tempo parts of Gentaro sandwiched between the upbeat, upbeat parts of Ranmu and Dice highlight Shibuya's free spirit. Ranmu shows off his pop cuteness with a hint of poison, Gentaro starts writing an a-i-u-e-o composition with his own name and sings the shockingly cute lyrics of "I am swaying and writing with the flowers blooming in the field", and Dice confidently boasts of their existence with "BetBet Dice" and "We have No Doubt" among a string of thrilling gambling terms... I love the lyrics of all the members! Shibuya's music was released before the other divisions, so when I listened to the music of the other divisions later, I was impressed by how Shibuya's overall high-pitched voice, youthfulness, and freshness stood out more. (MC name: Yoda)

"Rep Squad –麻天狼Ver.-" /麻天狼(Hypste)

◆I love all the songs, but麻天狼version is especially memorable! When I listen to the rap and dance, my body moves involuntarily. I will never forget how DOPPO showed off his "technics" at RepLive and BOP2023, just like in the lyrics. (MC name: Chin)

◆The individuality of each division and each character is put into one phrase, so even though it's the same song, it sounds completely different.麻天狼version has a great balance of Jakurai-sensei's solid bass, Hifumi's gorgeous verse, and Doppo's berserker-like rolling vocal style! The choreography is also great, making it a great song that makes you want to dance along. (MC name: Mayo)

◆I like the part about "being lonely and being in a cool group." It's Hifumi who says "both the extroverts and the introverts are main characters!" With the kindness of a pro... (MC name: Kodamako)

◆The No.1 soul-climaxing song of 2023. So cool I fainted. Super excited. This heart-pounding, soulful roar is irreplaceable. The opening of my favorite artist's solo performance. A beautiful silhouette floating in the darkness. I just screamed. It was too happy and too cool, it was exhausting. Thank you for this enormous happiness. I love you. (MC name: Puriko)

◆The麻天狼and dark intro that is so typical of Matenro resonated throughout my whole body when I heard it at the venue on the first day, and I was so excited that I couldn't recover for a while. It rained every day at the Zepp Yokohama performance at the start of the tour, and I remember heading to the venue a little freezing with an umbrella. But once Rep Squad started playing, the live started so hot that it blew away the temperature outside, and it was so much fun. When I hear this song, I can see the three members of HypStage麻天狼that I love again, so I always listen to it and it cheers me up. (MC name: Majiko)

◆ Sensei's lyrics are sharp and cool, even though he talks. Hifumi-kun's shout of "Pon! Pon!" is super exciting. And Doppo-kun's lyrics about a series of misfortunes, followed by his Technics, are a must-see for people who don't know about the sudden change in both the video and the music. (MC name: Mibu)

◆Definitely a song you'll miss every weekend! You'll be overwhelmed by Jakurai-sensei's weighty string of words, mesmerized by the sight of his beautiful long hair fluttering in the wind, then drawn in by Hifumi's bright, charming singing voice, and as you yell "ponponpon," Doppo's part shows off his technique with his stiff rhymes...It's the best song, packed with the charms of麻天狼, to the point that you'll want to say, "What! It's over already!?" I love it!! (MC name: Even if I'm reborn, I'll probably be a corporate slave)

"Rep Squad -Dotsuitareどついたれ本舗Ver.-" byどついたれ本舗(Hypste)

◆Even now,どついたれ本舗much, please give me a lyric sticker... I want to put it on my smartphone so I can laugh when I'm feeling down... Kinjara Party... (MC name: MOI)

◆The chorus and choreography are catchy and easy to remember, and it became one of my favorite songs after hearing it for the first time on Reply. I'm a big fan of Dotsumoto, but the dialogue is so Dotsumoto-like that it's a fun song to sing with friends at karaoke. It lifts my spirits, so I set it as my alarm clock. (MC name: ONAKA-ponpon)

◆The carefreeness of Sasara, the seriousness of Rosho, and the mysteriousness of Rei are all sown to the fullest, giving the song a coolness that is so Osaka-like! Even when listening to the audio, I feel like I can hear the live arrangement, and while listening, I play the live video of "that day" in my head. lol (MC name: Shiro)

◆It was the first time I've been to so many stage productions/live shows! Just listening to the intro brings back fond memories of the Represent Live. It's a really cool song that has a jokey Osaka feel, but also has a dignified presence that makes you feel like "we're the representatives of this city!" (MC name: Toaki)

◆Sarah sings with a fun and easy-going attitude, Rosho sings with determination and passion, and Rei sings mysteriously and seductively. The personalities of these three are clearly expressed through their voices alone, and when the three of them come together the balance is great, I love it (MC name: Muuko).

◆I remember thinking, "What is this cool song...!!" It's arranged for each division, and I love the lyrics that areどついたれ本舗. Sasara's interjections are so cute that you just want to scream out (Shhh!) The catchy melody of the chorus and the overhead clapping are really fun, and it's a song that you can really get into and get pumped up to!!! I love it!!!!!!!!! (MC name: Mitei)

◆This song is really cool, and more than anything, I love how it makes the audience really go wild at the live shows.どついたれ本舗are quite different each time, so it's really fun every time. When I listen toどついたれ本舗's Red Squad, I remember the fun memories of the rep live shows, so I always get energy when I listen to this song! (MC name: Coffee)

"Rep Squad –Bad Ass Temple Ver.-" / Bad Ass Temple (Hypste)

◆The call and response in the Goku part is a great song to yell out "Bad Ass Temple!" and "Strike Back Against!" with all your might. It makes you feel excited as it reminds you of the enthusiasm of the three performers and the audience at RepLive. (MC name: 2000 yen)

◆The part where Koku's laughter leads into "Yareruno ka?" is so violent and awesome, I love it!!! Maybe it feels even more so because I heard it live at a concert, but I think the Nagoya trio was the loudest, most lively, and most exciting with this song compared to any of the other divisions. I want to go back to that day again. (MC name: kazayume)

◆Although the three of them are usually quite separate, I can picture them as one team going wild representing Nagoya. It was great to hear them shout out the team name "Shout! Bad Ass Temple". They were absolutely ecstatic at the live show. (MC name: LISA)

◆Kokyou is so alive that I cry every time I hear this. (MC name: Hareru)

◆This is my battle song when I go to work. I always fight with him. It's my favorite song and I can't think of any other words to describe it other than the appearance of the bad boy. It makes me feel like I'm going to sweep away everything! I'm glad I met him. (MC name: Machiko)

◆Rep live was the trigger that made me a Nagoya fan. It may be the most memorable song of the year. The call and response of Goku Verse was really fun, and I shouted at the top of my lungs every time. The three of them were cool and dazzling, and it was the best time. (MC name: Wasabi)

"Rep Squad -Rule the Stage Original Ver.-" / Rep LIVE side Rule the Stage Original (Hypste)

◆Rep When the live started, I was excited to see if there would be an original division, so I was happy when it was announced! The characters in the original division are as strong as those in the original, or even stronger? They all have their own unique personalities, so it's a great song!! (MC name: Ayaka-sama)

◆An important song with all the original divisions. Thank you for running through Hypste, which would never have been complete with the existing divisions alone. (MC name: Kanezuru Nezumi)

◆They are original characters that are not in the original work and are exclusive to HypStage, but each one has a strong presence and when I saw them singing with all their heart and soul, "We are here!" during RepLIVE, my soul shook (MC name: Somade)

◆This is the original stage character version of the song shared by the stage version and RepLive. This song proves the existence of these characters who do not appear in the original work and only live on stage, letting their individual personalities explode. I really loved these charming characters, who have personalities that rival those of the original characters and strong relationships with them, so I will never forget the excitement and emotion I felt when I first heard this song! (MC name: Mairi)

◆First of all, I'd like to express my gratitude. Thank you. I love Hypnosis Mic and HypStage, and among them, I really, really love the special originals. The Rep LIVE was truly overwhelming, with a performance that is different from the existing characters and only possible because they are originals, and the excitement hasn't cooled down yet. My heart is still in Stella Ball. Each character has a completely different personality, and I have nothing but words of gratitude for all the staff and creators who were involved in the song production, including the cast. The originals really did exist. They proved it. I still can't accept that it's over, but thank you for creating and nurturing the originals with the same love as the existing characters. ◆First of all, I chose the original division RepSquad this time, and I love the song RepSquad itself. Just listening to the intro lifts my spirits. The melody, which is like the tranquility of the beginning of something, is dark and cool. And the divisions are full of individuality, and the personalities of the characters are crammed together, so it's a show-stopping moment. It has everything, and it's a song like a sparkling crystal. I can't help but dance to it. I've never received a lesson, but for some reason I can dance to it. It's the best! (MC name: Hypnotic Stage Towaiya)

◆Although there were more people than in other songs, I was glad that I could feel the strengths of each member through the short lyrics. I grew to like the original members of STEP even more. (MC name: Mizusen)

"RISE FROM DEAD" / Division All Stars

◆As expected, Division All Stars is the best!!! Even though the song was only just released on subscription services, I've already listened to it over 100 times. It's really cool, and the most fast-paced song in the history of HYPNOSISMIC songs to date. I immediately memorized the lyrics and sang it alone at karaoke, but it was a very difficult song even for someone like me, who has sung all the HYPNOSISMIC songs alone. I want to continue listening to it a lot and become able to sing it! (MC name: alligator)

◆ The rap is packed with lyrics and is so fast! It's like they're heroes of anime songs! The 18-person mic relay explodes with the rap skills they've built up over the years, and it's overwhelming! (MC name: MMK)

◆I recommended the second season of Hypnosis Mic to an acquaintance without much prior knowledge, and the response I got was, "I didn't really get it, but the opening was cool and I liked it." I thought it was the best opening song after all. Maybe it's because of this song, but he's continued watching it on ABEMA ever since. (MC name: Komebitsu)

◆I listened to it over and over and it ended up being ranked in the top 5 songs I listened to most this year on my music list (MC name: A nurse who wants to work at Shinjuku Central Hospital)

◆When I first saw the opening theme for the second season of the anime, I thought, "Wow! I love it!" and I've been listening to it ever since lol I'm excited to think I might get to hear this song live. Yokohamaverse from Oshi Division is good too, but I especially like Osaka Baths from the second round the best! (MC name: Reimen)

◆I think this song boasts one of the fastest speeds of any song released so far. That's why the speed is so addictive, and I listen to it over and over again. As the story of the anime progresses, the meaning of the lyrics becomes clear, and the more I listen to it, the more I like it. (MC name: Ichiro-mei no Jumbo Tanisi)

◆I love this song because it makes me ride my bike faster when I listen to it. (MC name: Kotchan from Hiroshima)
